Exit Animation While Moving Across Path Bug?

Hello,  I'm having an issue with moving an object across a path and using entrance/exit animations during the movement.   Seems that only the entrance animation works.  Then the motion jumps to ...

Hello Brian

Your timeline needs to be longer or your animations shorter.  Motion paths are not controlled by the timeline, but entrance and and exit animations are. . .  therefore a 2 second exit animation needs to have 2 seconds allocated for it in the timeline.  In your file, the motion is taking 5 seconds, which is the same length of the slide timeline.  So the 2 second exit animation has to begin half way though the motion to finish at the end of the timeline.

Hopefully that makes some sense.

    Hi Ron, 

    Thanks for the reply.  On my object, I have 2-second enter/exit animations, and an overall 5 second motion path.  

    I changed the fades to 1 second, and also extended the slide timeline to 6 seconds (leaving the motion path at 5 seconds) and I still get the glitch.
