Exit button is not working on applying JavaScript code.

Hi,

I am using the following code on the exit button of my course to move further ahead in our LMS, but recently this has stopped working. I have copied the same code from one of my earlier courses in which it is still working. Any help would be appreciated.

var player = GetPlayer();

var lmsAPI=parent;

parent.submitLearnDashTopicComplete();

Any help would be appreciated. I am also open to a new code altogether which could possibly work to close the course.
