Export Rise to Microsoft Word for Content Editing
Hi,
Will Rise courses ever be able to be exported/ published to Microsoft Word for easy content editing?

Any luck with this? It's been years since this question was posted and it would be great to export as word.

Without import from Word there is a great burden of time; copy and pasting and the increased likelihood for error. Please let us know what is happening here

I'd also like to request that this be considered. At the moment, when exporting the PDF to Word, there are text boxes, lines and images that all need to be removed, and styles need to be added. Or, if the PDF could be more plain text, that would help. Thanks

Thanks Caitlyn
We have to "pick" the information back into the file, in all its layers, when translated.
This is a duplication of effort compared to Articulate and raises the possibility for error.
What about accessible text and settings etc. these do not show in PDF?
We can download into XLIFF but our Translation department (large as they are) do not have the necessary software to use it. The "Word" translation option in Articulate is perfect, why can't it be looked at for RISE 360 ?

Hi, Bernadette! The feature to allow translation Rise courses using Word isn't in our roadmap at the moment. If your translation department doesn't have a translation tool, I know lots of people in the community have had success with a free tool called SmartCat, so you may want to give it a try!

Hi Mahesh! Thanks for expressing interest in a feature to export a PDF that includes the feedback and answers. We're currently tracking requests for this, so I've added you to this list. We'll update this thread if we make changes that will help.

Throwing my request hat in the ring for either an export to WORD or the ability to copy edit in the Review Tool.

Wishing to add to the need for a MS Word export from Rise 360. As other commenters have said, many of us do not have XLIFF software and the like of SOFTCAT no longer offer a free version / our IT department do not allow usage of other free versions. Our translation team still prefer to work with WORD or Excel than an software tool. As others have mentioned the work to prepare the modules for translation, then copy and paste back are time consuming and open to error.

Hello! I'd also like to chime in to request a way to export to Microsoft Word. Thank you!

I agree, a way to download Rise 360 content in Word would be extremely valuable, and it sounds like many others feel the same.
I have some content created in Rise that needs to be adapted to Storyline 360, and I can see it's going to add a lot of time to work out how to do this without a Word download function, then edit it again for use in Storyline :(Hi KatePicard! Thanks so much for sharing in this discussion! I understand how much easier it would be to repurpose Rise 360 content in Storyline 360 with a Word download.
I've shared with our Product Team that you'd like a way to export Rise content to Word so you can reuse it more easily in Storyline. I'll be sure to update this discussion if that makes it on our roadmap!

Looking forward for this feature. thank you for the question
Hello PeterLazaro,
We really appreciate you sharing your voice! We get that having a Word download would make it much easier to repurpose Rise 360 content in Storyline 360.
We’ve passed your request along to our Product Team so they know how valuable this would be. If it makes it onto our roadmap, we’ll circle back here with an update!
