Failure in test should result in repetition of the entire course

We want to have assessment at the beginning of the course, permitting only one attempt. Anyone who achieves a passing score (e.g., 80%) can exit the course as 'Passed'. Those who do not achieve the ...

I would add a button on the results slide failure layer with an indication that they have to restart the course. There is a trigger to "restart course" which would take them back to the beginning and reset any quiz questions.

Hello Elizabeth or anyone - newbie here - PROBLEM

Have set the course to have a certificate provided upon completion and a requirement to achieve 70% on the end of course quiz.

However, in testing, purposefully failed test to determine what would happen - takes you back to the course but it details 100% complete and a button for QUIZ but if restart the course or click "quiz" - just takes me to the final result of the quiz detailing 53%. I cannot restart the course.

Can someone help? Here are my settings.
