Feedback Master Does Not Work
I'm having issues with the button states and font styles working correctly when I apply feedback master layers. I'm trying to create a custom Storyline project shell. To that end, I have inserted the Opportunity theme, created a custom color theme and applied it, and created a custom font theme and applied it. I created three different feedback masters (1,2, and 3 - 4 and 5 were part of the Opportunity theme) and when I try to apply them to the existing feedback layers in the Opportunity theme, either the font is different (different style) or the button states are different (button shape, button fill, button outline).
In the attached example you can see where I applied feedback master 1 layers to slide 1.20 and the button states are not the same. I also applied feedback master 2 layers to slide 1.21 and the button states are off as are some of the fonts (bold where it's not in the master and a different font type). To further complicate this, if I try applying feedback master 1 layers to slide 1.21 it has even different issues than when I apply them to slide 1.20. I'm guessing it may have something to do with the properties of the slide I'm applying these layers to, but I have no idea. This also seems to be counter intuitive to the whole idea and reasoning behind having master feedback layers that you can apply.

Hi Heather,
Did you ever hear back about your issues with feedback masters? I am using release Jun20 and the only way I can get feedback masters to work is to delete all buttons, text, and text boxes from the master, because only the background actually acts like a master.
What I then have to do is delete any content of each layer of the quiz I am creating, then copy/paste the content of each layer, one at a time, of a good quiz.
If you have learned or been given a better workaround, I'd love to hear it.
Thanks,

Hi Rick,
I do not have a solution and had to do the same copy/paste workaround as you, which in my mind defeats the purpose of having a feedback master. Articulate contacted me via email and opened a case number to look into the issue. It was passed around in February and March and I haven't heard anything since. Your message just prompted me to follow-up. If there's anything to share I'll post it here.
