FIX NEEDED: Exported xliff file from RISE has included the default text block wording
- 3 years ago
Hi everyone! We fixed the issue where hidden placeholder text was sometimes included in exported XLIFF files. You should no longer run into that placeholder text when translating your Rise 360 courses.
Let us know if you run into any further trouble with this!
Do this simple test to see the problem:
Create a Paragraph with heading block.
You will see:
Heading
When we show up to the present moment with all of our senses, we invite the world to fill us with joy. The pains of the past are behind us. The future has yet to unfold. But the now is full of beauty simply waiting for our attention.
Now use the drop-down to change the block type to Heading. The paragraph "When we show up ...." disappears.
Use the drop-down to change the type back to Paragraph with heading. The paragraph "When we show up ...." is displayed again.
This suggests when a Paragraph with heading block is changed to a Heading block, that while the paragraph text is no longer seen, it's actually still included in the course.
Paragraph with subheading works the same way.
