Flip Card Blurry Titles
The titles on the flipcards are blurry. Anyone else noticing this? Is there a way to adjust? At first I thought it was text turned to an image, but it's actually text. I'm not sure what CSS is being applied for it to look so fuzzy.
See attached. Notice the crisp text on the back of the card.

Ok, it's in the CSS. If I 'uncheck' this in inspector, the text becomes considerably clearer. Any reason that's in there?

Alex your workaround works for inserted images too, which is a lifesaver! I have created icons or other images to be used for the front page of flip cards in the past but don't usually end up using them as they are always fuzzy.
I don't understand how this hasn't been fixed yet, or why it was ever set up like this?!
Thank you again.

Hi Alex
Is there any way to make that change permanent? I can turn it off as you've done and my images are considerably clearer but obviously this is only for my page instance. I'd love to know if you have a way to make it stick! :)

Thanks, Alex. We're seeing the same problem on our side. I'll get this reported to my team, and I'll share your findings from the CSS. I'll share an update as soon as I know more!

Hi Alyssa,
My team is also experiencing the same issue - the front of our flip cards are noticeably blurry. Do you happen to have an update as to when/if this issue will be resolved?
Thanks!

My workaround is to make the text bold.

Still seeing this issue :/ with the "animated blocks" setting on or off.
Guess I won't be using flip cards for my course.

Amy if you can live with bold text, the blurry text is not as bad.

Looking for an answer to this question
Hi there, Infinitude Creative. So far we haven't made any changes to the flip card block. We'll let you know if we make adjustments in the future!
Hello, Discover Learning Designs!
Rise 360 compresses images when you upload them, and that could result in some bluriness.
Try adding _NOPROCESS_ to the name of your image file to prevent image compression. The image will upload and display exactly as you saved it.
Let me know if that results in a clearer flashcard image!

Hi Alyssa, I tried adding _NOPROCESS_ to the name of the image file but unfortunately it didn't work.
Hello, Ladan!
Would you mind sharing the image file with our team? That way, we can upload it to Rise 360 from our side to get a good look at the blurriness you're seeing.
If that works for you, you can send the image file privately by opening a case here.

Following this thread to get updates. I've noticed the same problem regardless if text or images are used.
