Font changes in Flashcards in Rise
Hi Mark!
Happy to jump in here!
I understand some Rise authors would like the ability to decide whether to apply the heading or body font to Flash Card text. That functionality doesn't exist in Rise 360 yet, but we are tracking a feature request for it! I've included your voice and will update this discussion if it makes it onto our Feature Roadmap.
Have a great rest of your week!
+1 from me for this feature. I'd like to be able to use a heading (with the headings font) and body text (with the body font). My solution will likely be to use the Process block instead.

Hi PaulNewcombe-a3! Thanks for reaching out! I'd love to hear more about what you have in mind, as it is currently possible to adjust the font size of flash cards. I've recorded a short screen recording to show how this is configured. If you have something else in mind, please let me know, and I'm happy to submit it as a feature request to our product team.

Thanks for following up Lauren. My comment is just adding my vote to comment and reply directly above mine in this discussion. See Steven's response.
This is to do with the font (typeface, not size). As I understand it, Rise uses two fonts. Heading and body. The flashcards use only the heading font. Even if I change the paragraph style to normal and font size to smaller. For the brand I'm using, that means I end up with very bold body text.
So I'd like to use a mixture of the heading and body fonts.

Hi PaulNewcombe-a3,
Thank you for the clarification!
I added your vote to the existing feature request to allow the use of a heading (with the heading font) and body text (with the body font) in Rise 360 flashcard blocks. I shared your feedback with our product team, and we'll let you know if there are any changes that might help.
Enjoy the rest of your day.
