Force users to hover over objects before continuing

Hello! 

I have a slide where I want the user to hover over 5 different objects which each change the state of the background.  How do I ensure the user hovers over each object before advancing?

    Disregard, I used True / False variables linked to each hot spot to trigger the slide advance!
