Forcing AI Text-to-speech to pronounce a word correctly?

I have a series of modules for a notary course and the AI voices cannot say the word "jurat" correctly, consistently. "Jurat" is an important word for the course and so it can't really be mispronounced without sounding unprofessional.

I've tried spelling it:

Jour-at

Juhr-at

Joor-at

Joo-rat

And some others. I've had success with "juhr-at" but the voice (Matilda in this case but I've tried others) just cannot keep it up with the same pronunciation, even though the spelling is the same. They just make up pronunciations.

I saw that AI doesn't accept SSML. Is there any other way to get AI to pronounce something right? Consistently?

    Sorry to hear that you're having trouble with AI text-to-speech in Storyline!

    Thanks for sharing the options you've already explored. Using Matilda, I tried a spelling of "Jiwraat" that produced consistent results across multiple TTS files.
