Found a way to delete masters and layouts that are grayed out even though they are not used
Hello everyone!
Happy to share that we've just released a new update for Storyline 360!
In Update 118, we've included essential fixes and new features. We've released an enhancement for:
- Identify where slide masters, feedback masters, and layouts are used across your project to make design updates faster.
Launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer to take advantage of this update, and click the Update button next to Storyline 360. You’ll find our step-by-step instructions here.

This is still not working for me.
I'm trying to set up a Storyline template for my team, based on a corp PPT deck. I wanted to add a slide with a slight variation and thought I'd create a new Master for this one exception. Instead, I realized that it would be simpler to just create a new slide, select "Hide Background Graphics" and then manually copy/paste the one graphic I wanted for this one new slide.
Now that I want to delete the extra Master layout and all its master slide, the Delete function is greyed out and even Suni's workaround of applying a different Theme is not working. And no, there are no slides using any layouts from this Master either.
