Gleaning survey results and sending via e-mail
Hi Richard!
E-mailing results was found to be unreliable and therefore is not a feature in Storyline anymore.
You could utilize a third-party survey for conveying information to a database and receiving that in a report.
Now, different survey services provide different features. Most of them, however, will enable you to receive the feedback by email, or store it in their database. What you could do is create a survey with one of these services and insert it into your course as a web object. The learner would be able to fill out the survey and submit it through the course itself and you'd receive the information using one of the previously mentioned methods.
One popular survey site is Survey Monkey. They provide both a free and "Pro" version, so you could certainly play around with it and see if it works for you.
SurveyMonkey: Free online survey software & questionnaire tool
Hey Leslie,
I love the idea of using surveys.
I am trying to create a "workbook" by using surveys throughout the lesson for learners to apply knowledge.
Using forms sounds like a great way to do this.
However, I wanted to be able to compile the responses at the end of the course and send back to learners (imitating a workbook with their responses).
Would I be able to separate the web object slides with information slides, yet still maintain a single "forum" (equalling one email) for each of the learners?
