Government Users and pop up window
Hello,
I recently uploaded my first Storyline 360 course into our LMS, but to load the course it uses a pop up window. My government users CANNOT allow pop-ups do to the security measures on their computers. Are there any work arounds?
this should depend on the LMS and the type of communication
- xAPI: should work without problems without using popup
- Scorm: communication between LMS and training works - as far as I know - via the 'window.opener' - which is only guaranteed via popup.But maybe admins of LMS systems are reading this forum and could help or maybe the developers of your LMS have a workaround for this problem.
If user tracking is not necessary you can of course start the training via "story.html" - without popup.

- but '100+ Experts' -> maybe one of them knows the solutionthere is a simple solution - change the text of the LMS message to
"please click the button to start the training"
and remove the auto click of the button completeJürgen
