Graded Quiz: Fill In The Blank

Hi Judith & thanks for clarifying! The Convert To Freeform option won't appear on quiz slides that you've inserted via Insert>New Slide>Quizzing. This is because the slide is already a quiz question... and it's not possible to change it into a freeform question, since the ready-made question types have pre-fabricated logic and functionality attached to them. 

If you want to create a Freeform question, a good way to do that is start with a regular (non-quiz) slide, insert some objects that you want to use as your interactive elements (such as shapes, data entry fields, etc.). Then use the Convert To Freeform button to turn the slide into a freeform quiz question.
