Help needed: Faint speech bubble outline

If I select the speech bubble and remove the border from the format menu the phantom offset outline disappears. Even when I don't see an issue on the "build plate" the preview doesn't have the phantom outline anymore. To be fair I do have some speech bubbles with outlines that are dark and thicker, but it seems only the thin outlines produce a light line phantom. I am planning to do more research.
