Help with restarting slide layers

Hello, I have created a slide that requires users to click on the slide layers and it should move them to the next slide. Upon revisiting the slide it sticks and doesnt replay correctly. Please help. As i dont want it to reset when users are clicking on controllers and processors but I do want it to reset once theyve actioned both buttons on a revisit

  • I've also tried splitting the slide into seperate slides but when I revisit nothing adjusts I have the settings as Rest to initial state

  • Hello Katherine,

    Happy to help!

First, allow me to share my observations of how your course behaves. When I click on either the 'Processors' or 'Controllers' objects, I am taken to their respective layers. Upon completion of the timeline, I am then taken back to the 'Controllers & Processors 1' layers where the audio file 'Text-to-Speech 1' starts playing again.

With that being said, I'd like to ask a few questions to help clarify your design inquiry:

    • The 'Text-to-Speech 1' audio file does not have any associated triggers. Did you mean to make this file play only once, or is it by design that this audio file plays each time the layer is viewed?
    • Can you clarify what you mean by this statement - "it sticks and doesn't replay correctly"? What part of the slide 'sticks', and to what?
    • What is the expected behavior when the learner is taken back to the 'Controllers & Processors 1'? Should the layer timeline now be paused during a revisit?

    Looking forward to your response!
