Hiding lessons in Rise
Does anyone know if you can hide lessons in Rise, and then unhide them later? We have some system enhancements going live in August and some in September. I dont want to have to delete any lessons i've already created.
Thanks!

Hello... just adding to the requests that the ability to hide lessons in Rise become a feature! Would be very helpful -- I want to do just want James Washington does.

Also piling on, would love to see hiding lessons as an option! We are building out a multi-day landing page experience for learners. Ideally they only see one day (which might be just one lesson, or one section of lessons) at a time, without navigating ahead.

I am looking for a hide lesson feature as well. I only want a lesson to become available on the sidebar when a user clicks an interactive button on a page. Its been 3 years since this was brought up and you stated it was a great idea. Can you get it updated please. Thank you

I would like to provide alternative activities for accessibility using button stack buttons. For example, if a drag and drop is used, I would like to have a button that allows the learner to click for an accessible option. This button would take them to a lesson with an alternative activity. Being able to create lessons that can be hidden would allow me to hide these "extra resources" from the users unless they are needed. This is just one example for how I may use a hidden lesson feature.
Hey All! Thanks for sharing your use cases and your need for hiding lessons. We're tracking requests for the ability to hide individual lessons. If we make any changes that help, we'll reach out to you here.

I'll agree with hiding the lesson feature. I created a course with buttons linking to attachments at its own lesson, but I don't want the lesson to appear. Users would see they have to complete this part of the course when reality says its unnecessary.

Agree with everyone that a hide lessons feature would be very helpful. Since Rise has very limited functionality, I'd like to use a button stack to link to certain pages, but I don't want the pages to appear as lessons in the contents. Even if you hide the sidebar, the lessons will appear as a list on the introduction side.
What does it take to get an update for RIse? This doesn't seem like a priority for Articulate since there hasn't been any Rise updates in a couple of years. I've made several requests and see similar requests from others that seem to be ignored.Hi Natalie! Thanks for chiming in and letting us know this is a feature you'd like to see. We welcome all your ideas and anyone can send a feature request to our Product team here.
Before a feature is added to Rise, our team verifies the scope and impact it will have. For more information on how we handle feature requests, here’s our process. If you're wondering what we're working on now, here is our Public Roadmap for Rise 360.

We need a hide feature. I was surprised that Articulate Rise does not have one since this is a basic feature in online courses I've built in various LMSs and one that teachers use a lot - particularly when they want a class to stay together on the same unit/block. I just created an 8 block class for an instructor who wanted to introduce one unit/block each week. Now I have to go in, duplicate the course 8 times and delete all of the other units. It destroys the aesthetics of the course as now the course is all chopped up into separate links without the navigation bar on the left visually showing user progress. Please make it a priority.

Yes, I'd like to see this too as an interaction. For example, using the buttons to say "Click Here for topics that apply to Leadership on 'XYZ'"
Then sending them to a new Rise lesson that others wouldn't know is in the main menu. thanks for listening. this would be a great feature.

Would also like to request this as a feature! I would like to be able to use the button stacks to select a lesson that's not visible on the menu.
