Validation of the answer in a question slide happens when the interaction is submitted via the 'Submit Interaction' trigger, which locks in the user's response. While a question slide can only be correct or incorrect and not both, there are ways to reset the interaction in the slide.
- The first one is to change the revisit behavior of your slide to 'Reset to initial state' and add a 'Jump to slide - this slide' trigger after the learner's third incorrect attempt to reset the slide and allow a learner a fourth attempt.
- Use a Reset Results trigger to clear any previous submitted attempts, and allow learners to retry a quiz. Note that this will clear all attempts from previous question slides as well.
- Change the number of attempts for the question slide to 3, and give a learner a visual hint for the correct answer after the incorrect layer is displayed.
You can test each one to see which will be the most suitable for your design requirement. Let me know if you have any questions!
