Fonts not loading correctly
Hi all,
I'm in the middle of creating a rise module but I am having some issues with the fonts. I've created lots of custom imagery in XD which I've then exported as an SVG file to load into my rise module.
I've used the fonts Poppins and a customer font I've downloaded - and I've installed both of those as a custom fonts within Rise.
When I preview on my laptop, imagery all appears fine but as soon as I try it on any other computer, the font seems to revert back to an awful Times New Roman style default font.
This happens with both the share link and also when I've tried uploading the web file to Amazon S3.
Has anyone else come across this before?
This based on how you create the SVGs, SVGs with text in need the font installed on the users machine. I dont know how you do it in XD but in Illustrator you convert them y=to a path by selecting the text and pressing cmd+shift+o

How Do You Convert Text to Outline Shapes in Adobe XD?
- Select the text box containing the graphic.
- Enter this keyboard shortcut: on a mac CMD + 8. on Windows CTRL + 8.
- Export the selection as svg.

Ah that would make a lot of sense!
Will give that a try later on today and will update the thread once I've tested.

This has fixed the issues on one of my pieces of content - thanks for your help!

I'm having this same issue in Quizmaker. My fonts work fine in Storyline. I'm over here scratching my head for a fix. I installed the .tff versions of the font, but they don't appear the same.
Hi Mahogani_828,
Thanks for reaching out and I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue!
I'm happy to help troubleshoot and have a couple of clarifying questions.
- Can you confirm if this happens in preview mode and when published?
- What font are you using?
- Does the issue persist in a new quiz as well as an existing one?
If you're willing to share a screenshot or screen recording of what you're seeing, we'll be happy to take a closer look. You can attach those here or privately in a support case.
