hotspot question with multiple answers

I think Jeff has a good idea, but it can be implemented with fewer triggers. It turns out that if you are staying on the same slide, and showing layers (as opposed to jumping to other slides, and coming back) states are reliable. Check out the Fewer Triggers slide.
You may not want the cursor to tip off the location of hotspots by changing to a hand. My solution to that is to have it be a hand everywhere, because you can't keep it from changing if you hover over an object with a trigger associated with it.
