Thought it may have been a software glitch. I really don't intend sending my work into John knowing its just a matter of what Mike has mentioned.
Hopefully you can fix the issue with the next release.

I've added your feedback to your support case so John Carlo can be notified. If you're comfortable sharing your file privately, it would help our support engineers determine if this behavior is related to a bug and in which version of Storyline the regression occurred.
We'll delete it from our system as soon as we're finished troubleshooting!
