Hello Perkinli, 

Thanks for reaching out! I tested this on my end and was able to include hover states with text boxes successfully.

I can confirm that the hover state is a built-in feature that can be applied to various objects, including pictures, shapes, and buttons. When learners move their mouse over these objects, the hover state should automatically display without a trigger.

  • You mentioned you included created objects in your layer. Could you share more about these specific objects you've made?
  • Are you experiencing this behavior with more than one course or just this one? 
    • It's best to be working on the latest version of Storyline 360 (Update 98).
