How can i add audio file in accordion or tabs block?

Why has articulate not been able to upgrade accordian/tabs to allow for mp3 or other audio files?  What is the blocker here? 

This is a much-needed feature for better accessibility as I have learners that struggle with reading/english as a 2nd language etc.
