It looks like someone in the e-learning heroes community had your exact issue and their Support team offered these steps: https://community.articulate.com/discussions/articulate-storyline/desktop-apps-not-showing-in-articulate-menu

Thanks, Ron! I am glad to report that I was able to uninstall and reinstall the program, which seemed to resolve the issue I was having. I appreciate your time in sharing the link with me, I was not having any luck finding a solution in the e-learning heroes community.
