How do I remove part of the middle of my screen recording?

I am demonstrating (via a screen recording) a process for running a report but there is 20 seconds of dead space in the middle of the video while the report is being generated.  The Articulate Storyline video editor's 'Trim' function only seems to let me trim the beginning and end of the video but not cut out a chunk from the middle of the video.  Is there a way of doing this?

Hi everyone - wondering if the above concern is still valid. I've got a step by step recording across multiple slides, and in a couple of them there are some hiccups in the middle of them I'd like to trim out - start/end frame adjustment won't be the right approach.

Of course, I could re record the process, but there is a lot of real estate on the screen I'm trying to avoid highlighting.  Thanks!

Same question. As of Sept 2022 is trim function still limited to begining and end?

  • Hi, Laurie!

Good news! As a user of Articulate 360, you have access to Replay 360! You can do those edits in that app! Here's an article on how to get that done!

    Thanks for reaching out!!
