How does LMS reporting work with multiple quiz tries?

I have a course with quizzes spread across several modules.  These are linked to a results slide.  If the learner gets a failing score they can go back and retake the quizzes.  This is not done by ...

I have the same questions.  Not sure if they were answered in this post.  If a user fails a quiz, retakes it and passes it, is the second score reported to the LMS?  I created a quiz, failed it, then  passed it and did not get course completion.  So I'm thinking only the first score is retained, regardless of a subsequent passing score.  Does that seem correct?

    Hello Cappie!

    Great question! Data is communicated to an LMS when a learner exits a course. For example, let's say that I took a quiz and scored a 100% on the first attempt and selected "Retry Quiz" on the Results Slide. I scored a 50% on the second attempt and closed out the course. My score communicated to the LMS is 50%. If I need to retake the course, then I, or an admin, would need to reset the progress in the LMS to have a fresh attempt.
