how to add a Rise 360 Course into TalentLMS

Hi all, very new here.

I am just trying to add a test Rise 360 course into TalentLMS. when I export in Rise I do not get a zip file, I get a file with several different files and folders, I've tried zipping it and it just does not recognise it in the LMS.

Can anyone help?

    Hi Daniel,

    Welcome to the Rise forum.

Are you using a Windows PC or a MAC?

If you are using a MAC, Safari may be set up to automatically unzip all ZIP files, which is why you are seeing the folders, and not the actual ZIP file.

Hi Karl, your advice worked! I just set safari to not automatically open files upon download, the Rise file downloaded as a zip and easily loaded in TalentLMS! Thank you so much, I spent hours trying to figure this out the other night and I am so happy it works now. I really appreciate your help

  • Hi Karl, I am using a Mac and yes it does unzip the folder, is there anyway to export in Mac and then beable to upload to talentlms?

  • I suppose I could change safari to not automatically unzip files , I will try to do this

  • Hi Karl,

I am using Windows PC, and I am also seeing several folders and xsd documents. What can I do to upload my course into Talent?

    Thanks,

Hi Kostantinos, I am sorry to hear that you get an unzipped file when you export a Rise 360 course. What browser are you using? Can you try exporting the Rise course in a Google Chrome incognito window? Here is an article with the steps.
