How to add Math equations in RISE
Dear Team,
We have some Math equations to add in our course. We are stuck to develop our course. Please have a look on attached images. Please help.
Hello everyone, 🎉
I’m happy to let you know we released a new update for Rise 360. This update adds the following feature:
- Build math equations using LaTeX syntax and revise them by adding color and alt text.
There’s nothing to install for web apps. New features and fixes are immediately available, though you might need to publish your Rise 360 course again.
Let me know if you have any questions about this update or the new feature.

I too need such equation option. From the community chat, it appears that since long time, there is a demand for this. I request articulate to figure out a way and make a quick release of this feature

Hello Is there any further progress on this?
Hello,
We don't have any new updates to share regarding this feature request, but we'll let everyone here know as soon as this makes it to our product roadmap!

It would be great, as lack of an equation editor remains one of the biggest obstacles to recommending Rise to online programs.

When can we use this option? Would be very helpful in rise and in storyline!

While it's nice to see development in this area, this as implemented results in completely not accessible equations, which the JAWS screen reader cannot read. This makes it fundamentally not an improvement. The JAWS screenreader isn't even able to see the short description or the long description that this new feature uses (in MS Edge or in Firefox). Neither JAWS or NVDA are able to actually read the equation, which is what is required for this to be accessible. Please implement a proper solution that renders MathML. This is not a new thing. Developers who can make this sort of product should be able to do this competently so that your clients can meet the legal requirements we are under to develop accessible online content. Anyone else disappointed by this inaccessible new feature, please go upvote this new discussion.
