How to change the default folde when publishing courses
I've seen several threads on this topic, and no-one seems to understand the question, at the *heart* of it (in my opinion).
In our corporate environment (like others, it seems) we have no control over the Windows' system folder "my documents" (or "documents") AND Storyline always defaults to this folder for any operation (translation, publish)
I agree, working from the hard drive is best. But in my world, "my documents" is *not* on our hard drive, it's a network drive. Unlike a home Windows edition, we cannot change the path of this folder, it is locked down. And i don't want to have this extra constant browsing to get away from my documents.
I would like to know if we can stop Storyline from defaulting to the "documents" folder; can we manually tell it where to default to... stop picking 'my documents' all the time?
Thanx! Terry
Came looking for the answer to this question. Disappointed that the answer isn't even "no," it's to redirect the question to tangential points.
