How to create a virtual keyboard on Storyline?
I am interested in creating a virtual keyboard in Storyline. Per my understanding that Storyline currently won't be able to support this. Do let me know if this is possible and if yes how do I create it.

Support to this post, raise the feature to be able to add the Virtual Keyboard for not only standard English, but also different language, especially beneficial to the "Fill-in-the-blank" type of question in Storyline.

I, also, support this post. A standard QWERTY and 10-key would be most valuable. Most courses that I build are around how to use data collection devices. This feature would help with simulations.
Hi Trini,
You can also always share feature requests here with our product development team.
Hi Mah,
Is there something we can assist you with here? I'm unclear on what you're looking to do - and it seems your previous posts were flagged as spam - potentially because of the links you included.
Hi Mah,
I'm unable to read that blog post - or assist with Javascript triggers and elements, but the basic way to trigger to a URL/file is detailed here.
Hi Mah,
If you need help setting this up, I'll have to defer to the community as our support team is not equipped to assist with Javascript set up. You may want to provide a bit more information in your responses about what you've tried and how it's not working for you.
If you're providing information here to assist in terms of how to set this up, again, providing a bit more information and clarity will be helpful to others who come across this thread. Attaching a .html file or URL without a lot of other information may continue to have your posts marked as spam and removed from the forum thread.

In my own quest for a "virtual keyboard" here is one that I created in Storyline 2. Hopefully someone else may also find it useful.
Thanks Brandon for popping into this thread to share as well!
Hi Mah,
I'm not sure if Brandon is still subscribed here, as the post is a bit older - but you could always use the "contact me" button on a ELH users' profile to reach out to them directly!
Best of luck with your project!

I am still here :-)
If you use it directly, it won't work. You would need to use some pretty complex triggers to to this. For example, when user clicks (shape) adjust variable to add "letter" to variable (whatever variable your data entry field is.
This sounds really complex, but possible. I hope this is helpful.
