Hi, Sameh.
Your post gave me an excuse to create a quick mockup of what you described - an interactive video quiz with lightboxed questions. I'll attach it for you—and anyone else here—to see. Note these couple things that are especially important to making the buttons and lightboxes function properly:
- When I created the triggers that open the lightbox slides, I made sure the "use navigation controls" checkbox was not selected.
- This meant that I needed to insert my own submit button on the question slides. I gave that custom submit button an extra trigger to close the lightbox — after the one to submit the interaction.
- I made a design choice to make the "visited" state of the buttons that launch the questions invisible. This way, learners would only have one attempt at each question. This was just a personal choice, but it may be useful to you.
There are probably other things that should/could be noted, but those are the biggies that come to mind. Don't hesitate to reach out with questions!
Happy quizzing,
VN
Update: I changed the link and attachment about 30 minutes after posting because I noticed a little bug and couldn't let it go unfixed. :)
