How to create/add chatbot in articulate storyline or rise?
Sort of adding to the conversation, I thought maybe I had figured this out using Botsonic and JavaScript. The bot appears in Rise, but it doesn't work. It's static. I also tried using a Storyline Block (embedding the bot into that) and adding combination that to Rise, but it didn't work either.
We could REALLY use that feature. People want to interact with the course content and ask questions. I've seen two example out there of people who have solved it, but the details are light.

Right now, Storyline and Rise don’t offer a native, supported way to add a fully interactive chatbot experience. While some authors have experimented with JavaScript, Web Objects, or embeds, those approaches can be fragile and may not work reliably, especially in Rise, which has more limitations around dynamic scripts.
That said, the use case you’re describing, giving learners a way to ask questions and interact with content in a more conversational way, is a compelling one and aligns with what many teams are looking for today. I’ve shared your feedback with our product team so they can consider it as part of future planning.
