How to implement try again option in storyline freeform quiz
- Can you show me few example regarding freeform quiz based on attempt try again option in quiz
Sure! Here's a link to a very quick example I put together of a freeform quiz that allows for multiple attempts: https://360.articulate.com/review/content/a6d465b4-35ac-4154-9737-d3cfa592fda8/review
I've also attached the Storyline 360 file for this example if you want to take a look at the back end of this project.
Building it was quite easy. First I added the images to my slide and gave each one a descriptive name on the timeline. Then I used the standard process for creating a freeform pick one question. Finally, I did the step Judy showed a screenshot of: I increased the attempts to 3. That automatically added in the option for learners to try the question again.

In your file you have not used any triggers for the options in quiz

Hi Nabb
I duplicated your slide and disabled all the triggers in your trigger panel and just left the 'submit interaction' trigger. You don't need all those triggers. When the user selects the correct response the correct layer shows, when they select the incorrect response the try again layer shows, when they select the incorrect response a second time (number of attempts set to 2) the incorrect layer shows.
The try again layer is not displaying because you are not clicking the submit button.
See Peek video
If this isn't how you want the interaction to run let us know your requirements.

That's true! It's because the Convert to Freeform feature takes care of a bunch of the interactivity for you, so you don't have to manually create many of the triggers for the question.
I just recorded this Peek video of the entire creation process, from converting the slide to a freeform question to changing the state of your answer options to red or green once they're selected. I've also attached the final Storyline file I ended up with at the end of that tutorial video so you can see how it all works.
