How to interact with a video in a pedagogical way
Very interesting use of video interaction. Have you Beta tested it yet, Johann?
Hi Jack we used the first two in a course already but the third one we are still waiting to implement. It is tested by the ID's in the team but not with students yet. We are busy with a SME who indicated that this might be ideal for something she is teaching her students. I hope to implement the third scenario there

I see utility in all methods depending on where they are used in the instructional strategy and level of learning. From my perspective, initial formative assessment would allow the learner to stop the video and answer questions with immediate feedback. Additional scenarios (different videos) would challenge the learners to view the video without stopping it and have them render time sensitive decisions at key points, perhaps adding cues to make them revisit decisions and/or procedures. Essentially an inexpensive part task trainer. Keep up the good work.
