How to let the menu jump to the slide being viewed

Thank you for any advice.  I have a course that has two learning paths (buttons jumping to scene 2 or 8).  When the button to jump to scene 8 is clicked, the menu remains near the beginning of the course and the user has to scroll down in the menu to see where they are.  Is there a method to have the menu "jump" to where the user is in the course?
