How To pass the %UserName% variable from one storyline file to another?

Good Day,

QUESTION:
How can I pass the %UserName% variable to another Storyline 360 file?

I have a mutliple lesson course,  in Lesson One, I grab the Users Name and
use within the lesson.

SPECIFICs
How to pass the %UserName% variable to a Certificate of Completion (CoC) Lesson?

Currently I have the user re-enter their name in the CoC.

I appreciate any and all support comments and suggestions!

    Hi Robert,

    I found this example on how to pass variables between Storyline courses using Javascript very useful. Hopefully this will help you pass the %UserName% variable from one Storyline file to another.
