How to rename a state

While there isn't a way to rename a state in Storyline 360, you can duplicate the state and rename the duplicate.

Would be more convenient to be able to rename a state than having to delete it and redo.

you cannot rename, and I agree it would be good. but you can duplicate rename  and then delete previous

I wanted to share some information about how we manage these feature requests as that may be helpful. 

I've attached this conversation to the report so that we can update you here when we can.

I think the software doesn't want us getting an error when renaming states. That's why the software offers the best solution by adding a duplicate feature. If you made a mistake, simply duplicate and write the correct State name as many of the heroes here suggested. I think no need a feature request at this time. Maybe when the dev team has nothing to do, we can request this feature. my 2 cents :).
