How to Run Storyline on an M1 Mac
Hello all! I've seen some discussion around here and the time has finally arrived! We can run Articulate Storyline on Apple's new MacBooks with the M1 chips (and the performance honestly isn't too bad).
I created a video that walks you through exactly how to get SL up and running on Mac with the M1 chip, and I also put Storyline to the test so that you can see if it would work for your needs.
Check it out and let me know what you think: https://youtu.be/eR_sZffHpj4

Hi - thanks for this! Would this also work for Storyline 3 (as opposed to 360). Thanks

Hi--Thanks for this video! Super helpful. I was able to get Storyline up and running on my new M1 Mac but I am hitting a hurdle when trying to publish to Review or for an LMS. It looks like it is uploading slides and then it abruptly stops and shuts down. Any suggestion on how to address this?

Hi, Kim.
Thank you for reaching out!
I have a few questions to narrow down the issue:
- Are you working from a local hard drive? We don't recommend working with files on a network drive.
- Have you attempted to repair Storyline 360? Here are the instructions.
If a repair doesn't solve the issue, I'd like to connect you with one of our support engineers. You can open a case here.
