How to stop Storyline from scaling down inserted pictures?

Hi Leslie and Michael - many thanks for the response and the reference to an earlier thread which I'd missed.

I understand the Storyline maximum image size limitations now. They are a nuisance! I was already adjusting the image scale setting but the fuzzy outcome is unacceptable. As far as inserting a Web Object to display the pdf, nowhere is the content of the required 'index.htm or index.html file explained. Why not? I can't find guidance this anywhere and there is an (as yet unanswered )posting about it on the forum.

For now I have simply cut the long (5000 pixel) jpg into four images and inserted these as contiguous images into the scrolling panel. This preserves their quality but is inefficient to do, especially if the document needs updating later.
