Hyperlink with a Stop

Hi,

I have added a video to a module. I added a hotspot that takes the learner to a Lightbox where I embedded a video. I need the video to start from the beginning but stop after 291 seconds. To the embed code, I added start=0&end=291& This worked.

However, I also added a hyperlink with the same URL on the slide and I need it to open in a new window but also stop at the 291 seconds. Through research, it seems that I need to add start=1&end=291 to the end of the URL. It is not working though. Is this possible to do or am I doing something wrong? Thanks in advance for your help.
