I need to upload a PDF to Rise.
My goal is to configure a three-column layout and use images in the columns. My images would then be graphics for downloading content, e.g., one similar to the image below. Another is for a Word document, and the third is for a PDF.
However, I do not want to link to a file "outside" of Rise. I would like to upload the file into Rise so that it will be included in my course when I package everything. Is there any way to accomplish this task? All I see is the ability to link externally.
Thank you for your assistance.
Hi John,
Use a Multimedia --> Attachment block.

I have done that. However, I wanted to give the course a more visual look with a graphic that I could link to rather than the standard multimedia block. The multimedia block is fine, but it would be nice if we could customize the downloadable blocks. I hope that makes sense.

Hi John,
Within Rise there is no functionality to customize an Attachment block in the way you want to.

Hi there
Quick Question, I used the button or button stack block to link the PDF in my course; I like the clean look and feel of the course without attaching the PDF in the course. I realized that whenever I click the button to access the URL which open a new tab to view the PDF which I'm ok with, but my issue is whenever viewing the PDF, it doesn't start at the beginning of the course, it starts wherever you last closed the file. Can this be fixed or can you recommend a solution using this block.
