I would also love to know if there is a way of changing the default setting for accessibility/visibility? Using the icon library is great but some are made up of loads of freeform items that have not been compressed to make one individual icon.

Hello Kate,
Happy to chime in!
There isn't a way to change how icons are imported into Storyline 360 slides, but you can quickly convert icons into image files by right-clicking on them and selecting the 'Export Shape as Picture ..' option.
Once you've saved the picture, you can then replace the existing icon with this image file which should now allow screen readers to read the image only once. Be sure to add alt text to the image file to make it accessible.
