I have a similar problem. The stretched icon (see screenshot) inserted as a png. Other visible icons inserted as normal. I had just updated to latest version of SL (v3.89.32618.0).

Can I ask if this is happening to all the icons you download from the Content Library?
If the behavior is only happening to the icon in the screenshot, can I have the keyword you used to search for the icon so we can check why it is not getting downloaded in the correct format?
