If User Clicks Screen with a video it pauses...even with a hot spot
Is there any way to stop this from happening? I have some vyond videos in my course, with hotspots covering them, if the user clicks the screen it pauses the video. I've tried doubling the hot spots, and also tried adding a transparent box in front of the video but it still does not work. Is there any other way? Thanks!

Normally I cover the video with either a hot spot of a transparent rectangle over the whole slide. This has worked in the past. You need to make sure the hot spot of rectangle is at the top of the timeline for it to work.
Good luck, I hope this helps

Yes, I've tried this, and tried multiple hot spots at the top of the
timeline. And transparent boxes. This has been an ongoing issue.
Hi Maria,
I'm sorry you're having issues with the video stopping when clicked, even after covering it with a hotspot. You're on the right track with your solution, as confirmed also by Eric. It should work as long as the hotspot is on top of the timeline and no trigger is associated with it, especially a Pause Media or Stop Media trigger. Please find my tests below using the attached project.
If you see something different and you're working on your local drive, try running these steps to fix possible installation issues.
If the issue persists, would you be willing to share a copy of your Storyline file here or privately through a support case so we can look at it? We'll delete it when we're done!
