Illustration Color Change

Hello,

Can anyone please help me with changing the color of an illustration to my theme color? The options given in the format >> color are not what I want. I even tried going to color >> more variations >> eyedropper but even that isn't working.

  • Hello Vanita,

    Thanks for reaching out!

Would you be willing to share a screenshot of the color that you're trying to change so we can share the exact steps needed to make the changes?

For your reference, this article explains everything you need to know about themes, including how to customize the theme that your project is using. If you're experiencing any issues with changing colors in your theme, please create a recording of the behavior and we'll be glad to take a closer look at what's happening!

    Hi Vanita,

as far as I know Articulate only allows you to change the colors of their built in "icons". Other formats - like illustrations or inserted .svg files - are not supported.

If you want to change the color of an illustration to match your corporate colors (or any other color) you will need to do so in a software like illustrator, gimp, photoshop ... and then import it into articulate again.

Another thing you can try is changing the color in powerpoint and copying back into your articulate storyline slide. Powerpoint supports the feature you describe above - as long as the file is vector based (such as .svg).

    hope that help :)
