Image link in Rise
Why is it not possible to add a link to an image in Rise? This seems like a basic feature.

Come on developers at Articulate this is must. Having hyperlinked text is old school, at the very least we should have the option to hyperlink an image (also to adjust its size so it's not just limited to 25, 50, 75 & 100%). This request has been over 3 years in the making and still no progress...

What is Articulate doing with their time? This is a BASIC feature and has been requested for the last THREE YEARS!
Honestly, very disappointed with Articulate when it comes to feature requests. There are multiple ones that are years old that have not been addressed.
Hi Tanya!
Crystal built this example using a Storyline block that has an image hyperlinking to a website. She removed the Storyline player so the image blends seamlessly with the Rise 360 lesson. Let us know if you have any more questions about this!

This technique has been talked about before, but it's a bandaid solution. I need the flexibility to add a link to any image, wether in an image block, quote, grid, accordion, etc.
One problem I find with the Storyline Block is the extra spacing between it and the text. There is no way to make the image appear as to be part of the text because it is not possible to get rid of that spacing.
Why is it so difficult to implement this? If you could at least explain why it takes so much time to implement or fix basic features that many people ask for, it might be less frustrating for us.
In the past 3 years, I have submitted 3 issues pertaining to Rise 360.
- Add hyperlink to images (2017)
- Unable to modify text formatting of hyperlink (2017)
- Change bullet color in Rise to match the color of text (2018)
None of them have been resolved.

Rise is a great tool, but it's so limited for even simple features like the ones mentioned above. It's crazy to think that it's been 4 years now and there hasn't been much innovation/updates to Rise since then.

Absolutely right, Martin. Rise is great, but it should evolve. It seems unchanged since the first time I used it.

I agree. Rise is a nice tool but come on now. Seems like Rise.com took precedent over Rise 360. It's getting a bit noisy in here but I still see nothing happening as far as the MANY common sense type requests, including many that are considered "mainstream essential" by any 2021 standards.

Honestly, what's the use of a subscription-based product when features continually requested by customers are ignored?
Really? Over 3 years and no movement on this?? This is not an isolated incident, there are MANY requests that are ignored (years old requests).

I agree, I'm personally tracking a number of bugs or requests for "features" that, like this one, should be considered basic functionality. Many of them have pages of users begging for some kind of movement but they have been ignored for years.
What can we do to make Articulate listen to us? If anyone has suggestions, I'm listening!

Switch to another product? I did a quick search of top authoring tools, it's shocking how far down the rankings Articulate has fallen in many of these lists.
As someone said before, 'Sorry for my sharp tone'. But this really feels disrespectful to your customers to have basic features, requested for years, completely ignored.
