Importing google slides into storyline
I know how to import powerpoint slides in storyline 3. However my company does not work with office and solely uses google. I have made course presentations in google slides. To slowly shift to more interactive courses, I would like to import the already existing course presentations from google slides into storyline 3. Is there any option to do this?
I am sorry if this is asked before. I have read multiple discussions on importing information from google drive, but I couldn't find an answer to this specific question.

Would love to see this feature added! At my organization, we have no choice but to use G-Suite, and most of us are not allowed to use Microsoft Office products at all. Thus, we cannot import PowerPoint files and have all files in Google Slides.

+1 on this request. This would be a huge time saver and avoid the manual process of recreating a template.

In Google Slides you can download as Powerpoint. No need to have Powerpoint, just download it and import it in Storyline.

That is how I have handled it!

The above comments seem to indicate this can't be done if you don't have Office, can you (or anyone else) confirm that if you don't have Office you can still download Slides as PPT? Thank you! :)

Hi, Raeann.
Thank you for reaching out!
You are correct: Microsoft Powerpoint is necessary for importing slides into Storyline. See below:
Importing Content
Microsoft Office 365 (desktop apps only) or the latest perpetual version of Microsoft PowerPoint (32-bit or 64-bit)
Mac users: Office apps must be installed in your Windows environment.

Hello!
You do realize that more companies are using Google's Suite and not
Microsoft. Therefore, we cannot use the import function. It's a lovely
feature if your company uses Microsoft; but Microsoft is no longer the
major player in the game now. We need Google slides to import into
Storyline. It's on my wish list....for a while.Regards,

+1, I would be very interested by this functionnality. The fact that i have to start from scratches instead of taking the existing Google Slides is VERY annoying. This would be very useful !!

Not true - "If a supported version of PowerPoint isn't installed, you won't be able to import presentations into Storyline. Supported versions include Microsoft Office 365 (desktop apps only) or the latest perpetual version of Microsoft PowerPoint (32-bit or 64-bit). If you're using a Mac, Office apps must be installed in your Windows environment."
