Importing Guides from other project
Hi,
I have created a Storyline template from a SL file. In the files I created guides to have a consistent layout. However, the guides do not transfer when I insert a new slide from that template....

Sorry to hear the Guides are missing from your Storyline slides!
Just to clarify, is there a chance that they were moved off of your viewing window? If so, try zooming out with the scale on the bottom right, when in slide view, and see if you can tell where the guideline moved to, then position it back into your viewing window.
If that doesn't do the trick, you can create new guides by enabling the ruler using the View tab. Then double-click on the ruler where you would like your guide line to appear, and it will add a new one. Also, this article outlines other methods for creating new guidelines.
