Importing vector graphics

This thread is a bit older, but it doesn't seem that you're able to insert vector graphics directly based on their file types alone, so this thread offered a few ideas and workarounds on how to set that up. Sorry I can't offer more help with that - but I'd defer to the community for their expertise here. Perhaps scaling the image prior to inserting it would allow you to keep the same quality.
