In Public Beta: Brands

Hello, everyone! We’re excited to introduce Brands, now available in Rise 360.

Watch the video below for a quick walkthrough, or explore the full documentation to learn how to create, apply, and manage brands.

(Update) By default, everyone can create and edit brands, but this permission can be restricted to admins only. All creators on the account can apply brands.

After trying it out, please complete our short feedback survey. We’d especially love to hear what additional settings, permission options, and bulk actions your team needs.

  • Good news! We've got another update.

You can now bulk apply Brands to multiple courses. This is available in your Private folder and in any team folder where you have Owner or Manager permissions.

    1. Hover over and select the items you'd like to modify.
    2. Click the Apply Brands icon in the upper-right of the dashboard.
    3. Select a brand from the list and click Apply.

Once you apply a brand to a training, the name is listed on its dashboard content card.

  • This is fabulous! I happened to notice that my brand colors were already in place when the AI Assistant generated my course yesterday. I'm thrilled that this will be the case for my entire team since I've set it at Admin level.
QUESTION: Does the order of additional colors have any impact on the Rise Block Style color section? It doesn't seem to pick up the other colors in the Theme Tint.

Great to hear it! Thanks for sharing. Right now, the only change is that when you select a custom color, it makes the Brand colors available, but we'd love to hear more about your preferences there.

Super! This is great! Just the thing with having a customized color palet will save a lot of time.

  • I'm looking forward to trying out Brands. But, first, I need one of the admins for the ELH Super Heroes Team to give me permission. ( Noele_Flowers, you're listed as the Primary Admin, so I think you could give everyone on that team permission.)

So, yeah, like others have said, it'd be nice to have the default be that everyone can create a brand. In other words, make the admins have to do something if they want to prevent that from happening. And perhaps give them (or a brand's creator) the ability to lock a brand so others can't change it.

This is awesome - could be great if more than the primary administrator can create a brand!

Agreed. Our Primary Account Administrator is an IT guy, that pays the annual renewal fees and assigns new user seats. Otherwise he has never worked in Rise. There needs to be the option to give a Course Owner the ability to create a brand.

Thank you both! Permission options is an area we're looking for feedback during the public beta. Please consider sharing your specific context via the feedback survey. That's the best way to ensure ongoing iterations best reflect your context.

AliTreloar If your organization prefers, an admin can set this permission to allow everyone edit access.

So excited about this! We have a 28 slide brand ppt for every version of articulate; can't wait to retire it!

  • This is great. Quick access to the non primary colours is very handy!
